      Responsible for the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, process, and energy work including the review of energy studies and HVAC systems for air conditioning, dehumidification and humidification systems. Extensive design capabilities in building mechanical systems, including steam heating and distribution, gas-fired radiant heating, circulating hot water systems, ducted air heating and cooling systems, and chilled water systems. Experienced with fire protection systems, including dry pipe, glycol systems, inert gas, wet pipe systems, and deluge systems. Experienced with plant water booster systems, tempered water systems, steam and high temperature indirect hot water heating systems, humidification controls, waste and vent plumbing systems, as well as construction project management. As a project manager is responsible for client contact, project scheduling, establishing budgets, and conducting the MEP engineering effort with clients and contractors.

    Senior Project Manager, Dufresne & Associates

      As head of the building department designed HVAC and heating systems for schools, healthcare facilities, and municipal projects. Conducted forensic engineering evaluations to assist insurance companies in the evaluating the economic impact of insurance losses. Served as senior project manager for the design of water treatment facilities, including conducting pilot studies on filtration of water supplies. Served as project manger on renovations to headworks and disinfection facilities at wastewater treatment facilities.

    Mechanical Engineering Department Head/Project Manager, Dufresne-Henry, Inc.

      Served as the manager of the mechanical engineering department for six years, leading a team of nine mechanical engineers and designers, as well as project manager for over twelve years on various commercial industrial and institutional projects. Responsible for project scheduling, budgets, and client coordination. Provided design and construction oversight for improvements to municipal utilities, hospitals, educational facilities, commercial buildings, and architectural clients. Provided conceptual planning and design assistance for conversion of the former Plattsburgh Air Force Base into a multiuse commercial, flight support, and educational facilities which included the conversion of existing central heating systems into distributed facilities. Coauthored a facilities plan for upgrades to Colby College's central campus steam heating, electrical, and communications systems as well as development of construction estimates for their sewer systems.

    Project Controls/Project Construction Engineer, Brown & Root

      Assisted with project estimating and preparation of monthly billings for both foreign and domestic construction projects ranging from $600,000 to $30,000,000. Monitored subcontractor progress, prepared monthly financial reports, shop orders and requisitions, and monitored construction progress for conformance with contract documents.
