      As Western Regional Director of Engineering for Bonhag Associates, PLLC, Mr. Bailey brings to the forefront more than 40 years of experience in the engineering and construction field. The Western Regional Office of Bonhag Associates serves the western United States in concert with Bonhag Associates' Lebanon, New Hampshire office, providing full-service professional engineering services in the areas of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, facilities energy conservation and combined heat and power plant (CHP) facilities, project management, and construction management.

      Principal Engineer in charge at Bailey & Associates, a professional engineering firm providing services in the areas of mechanical systems, electrical systems, facilities energy conservation, project management, and construction management. Mr. Bailey is the former owner of a cogeneration power company (60 kw to 15 megawatt plants) which provided total turnkey services (feasibility, financing, project management, construction documents, equipment procurement, construction, testing and validation, and commissioning). Mr. Bailey is highly experienced having over forty years of engineering and construction experience with facilities planning, design, construction, operation, and project management, with specific emphasis on various types of facilities including industrial, aircraft manufacturing, military, U.S. government sectors, municipal, K–12 schools, laboratories, universities, health care, clean rooms, community colleges, municipal waste water treatment, industrial waste water treatment, et al. Additionally, Mr. Bailey possesses firm comprehension of energy considerations and energy conservation relative to retrofitting existing facilities (boiler plants, chiller plants, lighting, HVAC systems, proper controls and control strategies, systems configurations, and cost effective retrofit measures) and the implementation thereof. Mr. Bailey demonstrates an acute understanding of all the disciplines that are required to develop and implement a project and the required interaction (owner, architect and engineers, building department, contractors) that must transpire to realize a proper end result with appropriate infrastructure of systems, quality, performance, and adherence to budget constraints and timeliness.

    Principal Facilities Engineer (Consultant), McDonnell Douglas Corp, Huntington Beach, CA—1995 to 1997

      Responsible for facilities HVAC redesign planning, design, and construction, as well as overall facility EMS upgrade planning, design, and construction. Responsible for specific contract support facility rework designs and construction as well as central plant studies.

    Owner/President of Bailey Engineering & Associates, Citrus Heights, CA—1993 to 1995

      Engineer in charge at Bailey Engineering & Associates, a professional engineering services company, offering both mechanical and electrical services for planning, design, and construction of retrofitting existing facilities or new facilities with state of the art highly energy efficient systems. The areas of involvement were commercial, industrial, institutional, and military. The company also associated with other professionals to provide complete comprehensive teams.

    Department Manager, Grillias–Pirc–Alves (GPRA), an A&E firm, Irvine, CA—1991 to 1993

      Responsible for the supervision of fifteen people, including engineers, designers, and draftsman and for interfacing with clients and other departments in the progression of developing construction documents (plans and specifications) and for providing construction support. Projects included commercial, industrial, institutional—university, medical, municipal, military, biotech, laboratories, and pharmaceutical production.

    Consulting Project Facilities Engineer for DISNEYLAND, Anaheim, CA—1989 to 1990

      Responsible for multiple projects for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems rehabilitation, along with architectural, structural, and electrical systems modifications at Disneyland, including "It's a Small World," "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Tomorrow Land," and others. In charge of project management and construction administration, which included selection of A&E firms, contractors, peer review, schedules and progress reporting, change orders, payment requests approvals, being the owner/contractor liaison, cost estimate verification (+/–) and tracking, RFI processing, punch lists, equipment O&M manuals, warrantees, lean releases, closeout, and acceptance.

    Principal Mechanical Engineer, Marmac Engineering Corporation, Cypress, CA—1988 to 1989

      Responsible for pharmaceutical projects in Pasadena and Irvine, California.

    Consulting Mechanical Engineer, Supersystems, Inc.—1987

      Responsible for feasibility studies and design of thermal energy storage systems and cogeneration power systems.
